That depends on the technique, your hair length and how much we colour. We tell you your exact price in the consultation, before the colour is mixed.
If the tone fades between appointments, a glossing treatment freshens it up again. The right care products to use at home are available straight from us in the salon.
Frequently asked questions about highlights
What is the difference between comb highlights and cap highlights?
For comb highlights, the colour is drawn into the upper section of your hair with a comb. That gives soft, natural-looking tones. For cap highlights, fine strands are pulled through a cap and coloured evenly. We talk through which technique suits your hair before we start.
Top section, half head or full head: which do I need?
Top section highlights add accents where they are seen most: along the parting and around the face. With a half or full head of highlights, the lower sections are coloured as well, so the effect stays visible when you pin your hair up or the wind catches it. What makes sense depends on your hair and the look you are after.
How long does a highlights appointment take?
Depending on the technique and your hair length, between one and a half and two and a half hours. If you want to know beforehand how long it will take for you, just give us a quick call.
Highlights or balayage: which suits me better?
Highlights add even, defined accents from the roots. With balayage, the transition is painted freely into the lengths and the roots stay darker. If you are unsure, have a look at our balayage page or ask us in the consultation.
